KEEPA – BEE NETWORKING

Learning

Learn from a keeper near you

Bees are learned standing next to someone who knows them. No video makes up for it, and African bees are unforgiving of advice written for European ones.

Find a mentor

How a visit works

1

You ask

Tell the mentor what you want to learn and whether you have been stung before.

2

They decide

A mentor sees your request before agreeing to anything. Nobody is obliged.

3

Details are shared

Only once you have both agreed. Until then you see a block, not an address.

4

You turn up prepared

Bring what they asked for. A suit you do not have is a wasted Saturday for both of you.

Bee sting allergy can kill. If you have ever had a reaction beyond local swelling, say so when you ask. A mentor is entitled to know before they agree to have you on their property, and you are safer for saying it.

Willing to teach?

Mentors are what makes this work, and there are never enough. You choose what you will teach, when you will host, and how many people at once.
